Paysafe has announced its expansion into the Louisiana and Oregon sports betting markets, powering payments and affiliate programs for multiple mobile sportsbooks.
The payments platform is now processing sports-bettor deposits with mobile sportsbooks in the Louisiana market as well as powering multiple igaming affiliate programs.
Market entry in Louisiana was secured through the extension of existing partnerships with Caesars and Draft Kings into the Pelican States mobile sports-betting market, which could result in a mature market handle of $5.1bn annually, according to the American Gaming Association.
Furthermore, the firm is aiming to optimize Louisiana sportsbook customer conversions through the affiliate software of Income Access, with several sportsbook operators using the software to track their affiliate programs.
Additionally, it is extending its payments business to Oregon after securing a deal with DraftKings, the official sportsbook of the Oregon Lottery. As a result of the entry, players in Oregon can make streamlined deposits into their DraftKings Sportsbook app accounts using a credit or debit card through the operators connection to Paysafes payment gateway.
Zak Cutler, CEO of North America igaming at Paysafe, commented: Were proud to be supporting multiple operators in the new Louisiana mobile sports-betting market with two important pillars of their customer acquisition and ultimately revenue growth payments and affiliate marketing.
When our Oregon market entry is also factored in, we feel our position as the go-to igaming partner for online payment solutions and the affiliate channel has never been stronger.
